THE WHOLE QUESTION ABOUT THE FIRST AMENDMENT

The whole question of free speech, the right to peaceably assemble, as well as seeking redress for grievances, is this---where do we draw the line between calling for action and violently overthrowing corrupt governments?

Governments tend to move the line closer to the former in defining who is a domestic terrorist. Eventually, anyone who thinks a thought against those governments will be a thought criminal.

It is OUR duty as human beings to keep all governments at bay. We as humans must keep governments small and responsive to the people.

The smaller the governments are, the better they respond to their people, and the less violence necessary to keep them in check. The governments must be kept at an optimal size to provide for the purposes for which they were created.

It then becomes us to take the reigns of government by choosing representatives who will faithfully execute the duties of their offices as required by the people. We must keep those representatives in check. We should never leave it to the fox to guard the henhouse.

DREAM WORLD

Oh, to close my eyes
and to unsee the world
I've seen!

I wish to dream a world
of gaiety and bliss,
with woes unknown,
with unicorns and rainbows,
and sugary sweets all around.

Where is the pill
that can render me so
unaware of the world
and let me forever dream
and never wake?

I dare not,
I will not,
consume such a pill.

I know the dream is not real.
Such a world does not exist.
I must awaken and see
the world for what it is.

I must realize
that the world I seek
can only be real
as I make to be.
Once achieved,
and then only,
will true gaiety and true bliss
be real.
Perhaps there will be
real unicorns and real rainbows.

One thing I know will be for sure:
There will be sugary sweets everywhere
And many friends to share them with.
